Nice work.
A little tip: You picked a couple of pretty difficult classes for PvE. Expect to die a lot. (I have an assassin and ele too.)

Started reading , first error i saw , you classed GuildWars as a MMORPG, Guildwars is in fact not a MMORPG its a ORPG or as Anet calls it a CORPG ( Competitive Online Role Playing Game)
Edit: Aww it ended just as i was enjoying the reading
Will you add more or another blog once you get the game and have played for a while, id love to see what more you write about the game.

Whatever Xen. It's still a MMORPG. Even if Arena.Net doesn't want to call it that.

CORPG is a sub-category of MMORPG.

MMORPG = Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game.
Please tell me GW isn't massively multiplayer.
America has taken the favor of the gods from Europe!

Sometimes, it's always better to go and first understand the difference between the terms MMORPG and CORPG before making yourself look silly.

Wow, some people are pretty anal about the whole CORPG vs. MMORPG thing... and GW technically DOES have a TON of players.... so it's massively-multiplayer... and online... and a role-playing-game, to a point... >_>

first off i really appreciate you asking for more, and when i get the game and have played it for a while i will definitely write more
second the mmorpg or corpg thing has been discussed alot on another forum i posted in and it is really an mmorpg, corpg is more of a fancy title that arenanet used. also arena-net apparently just accepted an award for best mmorpg, so i guess you can call it either.
and to bart: if you had actually bothered to read it properly you would of noticed i only had a 10 hour trial of it, and it is intended as a brief overview for people looking to get into the game, not a full guide to every aspect of the whole game.

I get so tired of the MMO vs CO debate. It's old hat, guys. And Curse You said it right, anyway.
But yeah, good clean review. I'd also like to see more once you get the game. And, if I may be so bold as to recommend some appendages, I'd review the PvP and PvE portions seperately.
